Summer Camps

Eureka! The Inventor’s Camp
Date: June 13-17

Ages: 5 to 12
Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most important of all – their minds! While Edison said “Invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration” -this camp is 100% FUN!

NASA: Journey to Outer Space
Date: June 27-July 1
Cost: $165
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Ages: 5 to 12
From our earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this hands-on space program sends children on a quest for explorations! The exploration includes finding out how an astronaut lives, learning about suns, stars and planets, and building, decorating and launching a model rocket! Join us for some Space sized fun!

Brixology
Date: July 25 to July 30
Cost: $175
Time: 1pm – 4pm
Ages: 8 to 12
This camp sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Children learn about different types of engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering-themed project using LEGO bricks. We’ll learn about aerospace engineering as they are assembling a space station. They explore mechanical engineering as they build boats and vehicles. That’s not all, from carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges; your future engineer will build upon their creativity to solve real-world design challenges, while developing their problem-solving and team-building skills. Let the tinkering begin.

Crazy Chemworks
