20/20/20- This trifecta of fitness gives you a sample platter of different class formats that will leave you satisfied at the end of the hour. Cardio can be any format including Step, Floor, Bcamp, Zumba, or Intervals to produce the ultimate calorie burn. Toning, Core, and Stretching will be done in every class using various equipment. Formats may include Pilates, Yoga, and Barre. If you want a routine that makes you work your entire body, this is the class for you. Are you ready for the challenge?
Barre -A fusion of the best of Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga to help you lean, strengthen, and tone your entire body. This format will use various equipment including the chairs, barre, balls, and bands, and hand weights.
Core Commotion -Through the use of hand weights, real life functional movement patterns such as twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, lunging, and squatting are executed in a FUN and creative way. Core training, balance, and flexibility are included in these patterns to make a well rounded program. Because of the multi-joint movement patterns, you will feel a real “commotion” in your core!
Cardio Tone– Experience various aerobic drills and strength exercises with this easy to follow format. This class will keep your heart pumping while toning all of your muscles.
Circuit Breaker– This non-choreographed, non-weight bearing class will challenge you to reach your full aerobic potential. Get ready to sweat with this heart pumping challenge. A variety of high energy cardio formats and intervals that will get you into the best cardio shape of your life.
Kids Classes– Be it Zumbatomic (Zumba for kids), Yoga or Cardio drills these classes are for ages 5-15. Our instructors are trained and ready to help the youth in our community learn about the importance of fitness, while having fun.
Pilates/Pilates Unhinged– Using the body’s own resistance, a series of movements are designed and performed to increase circulation, breathing, posture, and body awareness. Mat classes will incorporate small equipment such as bands, balls, and small weights.
Power Tone– Feeling a little weak or having trouble lifting things? Using a combination of free weights, Versa bars and your own body weight, this class is designed to get your muscles toned and make you strong again.
Step/ Multi-Step– Using a raised platform or two and fun choreography, this class will get you into shape and make you feel great. Adjust your bench height to a fitness level that is right for you.
Turbo Kick Box – Looking to give your old fitness routine a kick? Martial arts-style movements are woven into a cardio workout that is fun and challenging. Kick boxing is a great way to burn fat and increase cardiac endurance.
Yoga/Restorative Yoga/ Power Yoga– Six thousand years of Yoga enthusiasts can’t be wrong. Indulge in a workout for the mind and the body. Build strength, gain flexibility and achieve better balance in an atmosphere that calms the body and soothes the soul.
Zumba – Come join the latest craze in fitness, so much fun you’ll forget you’re working out! Latin and international rhythms along with easy to follow dance steps create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness training system. No dance experience necessary. Cross train sneakers or dance shoes highly recommended.
Zumba Sentao– Combines strength and resistance exercises with cool dance moves on and around a chair. The class still has the rocking Zumba party dance rhythms and international beat. You can let loose and boogie, with the extra bonus of mega calorie burning strength workout.
Silver Sneakers Class Descriptions
The signature Silver Sneakers classes are designed specifically to help Medicare eligible individuals and anyone needing a slower paced workout routine to improve overall fitness. All classes are lead by certified instructors and are appropriate for all fitness levels.
SilverSneakers ® Cardio- Get Up & Go with an aerobics class that’s safe, heart-healthy, and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxtion exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
SilverSneakers ® Classic-Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
SilverSneakers ® Circuit– Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers ® Yoga- This will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
