Recreational Hockey

DCYHA  recreation hockey programs emphasize fun above all else and is our primary mission.  As a USA Hockey organization, all age divisions follow the USA Hockey American Developmental Model standards for practices and the USA Hockey rulebook for games.

Age levels are determined by year of birth not the school year calendar.  Age divisions offered by DCYHA include 8U-8 years of age and under through 14U – 14 years of age and under.

Practices typically begin in October.  Games begin in November and run through the following March. Practices are scheduled during weekday evenings and games are typically on Saturday morning. All practices are held at the South Davis Recreation Center in Bountiful. Games are played in Bountiful, Logan, Ogden, Taylorsville, Park City, Provo and Vernal, Utah.
