The South Davis Recreation Center follows the USTA 10 & under tennis guidelines. This means tennis sized just right for your kids; smaller courts, slower and lower bouncing tennis balls, lighter and and smaller racquets. Camp Description:

Pickleball Camps
Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Pickleball is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players!
Summer 2025
Our Youth Pickleball camps are geared towards those new to pickleball wanting to learn the rules and basic strokes of the game in a group environment. Camps are held Monday – Thursday (unless otherwise noted due to holidays) for a total of 8 days. For Youth 7-15 years old.
